About the Art
The Nuart Theatre might not have the same fame as some of its Hollywood counterparts, but since opening in 1928, it has proven its staying power. Over the years, it has cemented itself as a fan favourite, particularly for its legendary midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a tradition itโs upheld since the early 1970s.
This was another instance of wanting to make use of the longer dimensions to capture the intricate details, from its classic architecture to the vibrant neon signs, bringing out the unique charm of this local gem.

Process Behind the Print
Each print begins with research and a hand-drawn sketch. I then do a quick colour study to capture the mood, before illustrating the piece in Photoshop, layer by layer, refining every detail as carefully as possible.
