About the Art
I actually had the honour of visiting the John Sowden House in person after being commissioned by the couple who live there. Theyโd seen my rendition of the front of the house and requested a custom illustration of their courtyard, which became my first-ever โsequelโ print.
Exploring the house felt like stepping into a villainโs lair. The dramatic architecture and the many cats roaming around only added to the feeling.

Process Behind the Print
Each print begins with research and a hand-drawn sketch. I then do a quick colour study to capture the mood, before illustrating the piece in Photoshop, layer by layer, refining every detail as carefully as possible.
