About the Art
The Chateau Marmont is my favourite hotel in Los Angeles.
I’m fascinated by the mystery, allure, and legend surrounding this building. There’s something so striking about seeing a French-style château perched on a hill, overlooking LA, a castle that feels completely out of place in the best way.
I was lucky enough to be invited there by someone in my audience to listen to his friend play piano in the main lobby. It was such a beautiful experience, and I couldn’t help but imagine the stories those walls must hold.

Process Behind the Print
Each print begins with research and a hand-drawn sketch. I then do a quick colour study to capture the mood, before illustrating the piece in Photoshop, layer by layer, refining every detail as carefully as possible.
