About the Art
As you may know by now, I have a soft spot for Los Angeles theatres, and this one in Los Feliz immediately won me over when I saw it in person.
The neighbourhood is already beautiful on its own, but then you turn a corner and there it is: this historic, deep-purple landmark glowing with bright green neon. I remember just standing there for a moment, taking it all in. It’s one of those buildings that feels almost cinematic in real life, and I knew instantly I had to draw it.
A little fun fact: you’ll notice “Goldburger” tucked into the bottom right of the print. If you ever find yourself in the area, they actually have a few of my prints inside!
