Hand drawn by George. Never AI
Drawn in London, printed in the USA
Hi, I'm George. I draw every print by hand, no AI at any step. My work has been shown in six solo exhibitions across the US and in my art book Golden Hour, sold at Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
Have a question about a print or frame? Email me. I answer every message myself.
Why does this print cost more?
The paper:
Hahnemuhle Pearl is a heavy cotton paper with a soft pearl finish. It's what museums and galleries print on because the colors stay true for decades.
The ink:
Giclee printing lays down archival pigment ink in fine layers, so the sky gradients and the tiny details in the windows come out the way George drew them.
The frame:
Solid oak, real glass, assembled by hand and shipped ready to hang. No plastic, no clips, no assembly.

About the art
I first drew The Lighthouse Café because of its connection to La La Land, long before I ever had the chance to visit in person.
A few years later, I finally made it there for a jazz night, and when I say it completely lived up to the magic I’d imagined. I was genuinely starstruck when we arrived and those neon lights lit up in front of me, and the musicians were just unbelievable.
The whole evening left such an impression on me that I ended up creating this night-time version of the print, inspired directly by that experience.

This was a birthday present for my best friend. He said he was "Gobsmacked" because it brought back memories of going to the Aero Theater with his mom as a kid.
Print is perfect! The colors are so bold and really light up the room now that we have it hung.
Print looks great and the framing is solid. It arrived with a tiny chip in the wood, but is almost unnoticeable so all good. I wish the artist signed the print, but love his work and looks great on the wall
Store owner replied: Thank you so much for the kind words! I wish I was able to sign the prints too, but as I’m based in the UK and 99% of my customers are in the US, I chose to fulfil from the US so customers can avoid the extra shipping costs, tariffs, and delays. It’s a shame, but I do try to host in-person shows in LA every year and encourage people to bring their prints along if they’d like me to sign them!
Loved this one!
Beautiful, original and quality art. Also thanks for getting back to me on questions about hanging outside in the heat!
