About the Art
I’ve walked past the old Tower Records building on the Sunset Strip many times, and it’s always fascinating to imagine all the launches, events, and history that happened there. Tower Records was around for decades, sparking a love of music for generations and giving countless people a place to discover new artists and albums. Such a shame it closed down.
This print was also a fun challenge because of the building’s long, narrow shape, it was perfect for experimenting with a longer aspect ratio.

Process Behind the Print
Original Sketch
Each piece begins with research and reference, before being carefully sketched by hand to capture the character of the building. No AI is used at any point.
Final Print
The drawing is then built up layer by layer in Photoshop, taking time to refine details before being printed as a museum-grade giclée.
