About the Art
I’ve wanted to draw this view for as long as I’ve been working on my Los Angeles series, just look at it, it’s breathtaking. I’m obsessed with the Art Deco tiles set against that bright blue pool. I haven’t been able to visit myself (it’s private residences), so it remains firmly on my bucket list.
Someone once told me floaties aren’t actually allowed in the pool, so I took a bit of creative liberty there. That’s the beauty of drawing these places, I get to make the scene exactly how I want to.

Original Sketch
Each piece begins with research and reference, before being carefully sketched by hand to capture the character of the building. No AI is used at any point.
Final Print
The drawing is then built up layer by layer in Photoshop, taking time to refine details before being printed as a museum-grade giclée.
