About the Art

Iโ€™ve wanted to draw this view for as long as Iโ€™ve been working on my Los Angeles series, just look at it, itโ€™s breathtaking. Iโ€™m obsessed with the Art Deco tiles set against that bright blue pool. I havenโ€™t been able to visit myself (itโ€™s private residences), so it remains firmly on my bucket list.

Someone once told me floaties arenโ€™t actually allowed in the pool, so I took a bit of creative liberty there. Thatโ€™s the beauty of drawing these places, I get to make the scene exactly how I want to.

Process Behind the Print

Each print begins with research and a hand-drawn sketch. I then do a quick colour study to capture the mood, before illustrating the piece in Photoshop, layer by layer, refining every detail as carefully as possible.

Gallery1988 is a small, independent business that proudly supports work from many artists. Because they handle everything in-house, orders typically takearound 2โ€“4 weeksto arrive.

Your support means a great deal to both of us, thank you for helping keep a local LA business thriving.

Will I have to pay tariffs?

No. Since your order ships directly from California, you wonโ€™t incur any tariffs.

What if my order arrive damaged?

No need to worry, if your print is lost or damaged in transit, weโ€™ll send you a free replacement right away.
