About the Art
The Stahl House sums up everything I love about Los Angeles, all wrapped up in one neat, mid-century modern package. The architecture, the bright blue pool, the sun-soaked pavements, and the iconic city views, itโs all there. Every time I visit LA, itโs a tradition of mine to take the sunset tour.
This was the second print I created in this long running series, and I credit it as the one that truly started getting peopleโs attention. I originally illustrated the Stahl House as a way to escape my own dreary surroundings, and I think that's why so many people are drawn to it too. It's not just a print to hang on the wall, but a little escape to somewhere warmer and full of possibilities.

Process Behind the Print
Each print begins with research and a hand-drawn sketch. I then do a quick colour study to capture the mood, before illustrating the piece in Photoshop, layer by layer, refining every detail as carefully as possible.
